Short recent chronology
The Jaguar was found sitting in a New Zealand barn in the year 2002. From the year 2002 until 2006 the automobile was meticulously restored to original specifications by a New Zealand top class restorer. The perfect restoration needed 5000 hours of work...
In the year 2007 the Abbott was presented at the Essen Techno Classica. Here the car won the first prize as best restored automobile on the show. The Abbott was published in several magazines. Very nice was the five page article in Octane Magazine, issue 47 of May 2007.
