Gearboxes

We can supply gear boxes with 5 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. These gearboxes can be fixed to the existing bell house and will replace a 4-gearbox (Jaguar E-type) or a 4-gearbox with electronic overdrive (Jaguar XK or MKII). We can also convert an automatic transmission to a manual transmission with 5 gears.

The transmission ratio is specially selected in order to ensure a low number of revolutions at high speed, so your car will drive a lot smoother. We can provide individual gearboxes or install them into your classic car.

The new gearboxes (5 gears) can be installed into the following models:

Jaguar XK120 – 140 -150

Jaguar E-type Serie I – II –III

Jaguar MKII

Jaguar XJS – XJ6 – XJC
