Porsche 911 carrera RS - 1973

Porsche 911 2.7 Carrera RS, year 1973. Colour Grand Prix white with green Carrera lettering and green wheel centers. Black interior. Only 1590 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS cars were built, this RS Touring (M472 specification) is production number 1290.

This fantastic automobile was sold new in Germany, delivered in Grand Prix white with green (only 7 cars were originally sold in these colours.) In the 1980ies the car was extensively modified to Sport (471 specification) by the internationally renown Dutch Porsche specialist Rens Ruts. Light weight Sport items fitted: rubber carpet, Recaro bucket seats, door panels, front and rear bumper. Deleted Touring items: sun visors, rear seats, clock. In sport trim the Carrera RS is about 100 kg. lighter. Rens Ruts raced this fabulous Carrera RS in the 1980ies.

In the year 1998 this fabulous Porsche Carrera RS was fully restored by Rens Ruts. The car has driven 31.000 kilometers ever since. Recently the Porsche has undergone complete service and check up by an official Porsche dealer. This beautifully restored and superbly driving 911 Carrera RS is in superb (excellent++) top condition, like new!
